I've always been drawn to the things we're often told not to question—including the forbidden fruit we're warned not to bring up around the wrong people.
God. Religion. Government. Power. Authority. The afterlife. Illusions. Life purpose. Success. Death.
I've never been particularly good at leaving things alone.
Some of that began at eighteen, after a violent motorcycle accident changed what I thought I knew about life, death, God—and why in the world any of us are even here.
I've been questioning things ever since.
That's a lot of what I write about.
Not to tell you what to believe.
To question what we've already decided is true.
This is not for everyone.
Most of us know when something in our lives doesn't quite add up.
Maybe it's something we were taught. Something we've believed for years. A relationship. A job. Maybe even the life we've built.
We can ignore those things for a surprisingly long time.
But eventually, pretending not to see something can become harder than facing it.
That's where things get interesting.
The Work
I didn't set out to write a trilogy.
I was simply trying to make sense of a few things that had followed me around for much of my life.
When the Illusion Breaks came first.
Then Beyond the Illusion.
And eventually, To Heaven and Back in the Blink of an Eye.
Three books. Three very different questions.
And apparently, I’m still not done.
I don't maintain an open coaching practice.
On rare occasions, I work privately with a few people who want someone willing to look at what's really going on and not dance around it.
The work is direct, personal, and highly selective.
